Oxford Museums and Libraries

Year 9 students studying at Space Studio, went on a trip to Oxford on drop down day. They took part in a printing workshop at the Bodleian Library using historic printing equipment, toured the Weston Library which is home to some of the nation's most valuable literary treasures and had a behind-the-scenes guide to the study areas and the roof terrace. Students enjoyed a free lunch in Trinity College and a talk about life in the Oxford colleges culminating in a self-guided tour of the Pitt Rivers Museum to explore the Egyptian artifacts and the historical weapons.
