A Level Results 2018

Students celebrating their results

Following on from Ofsted awarding Banbury Academy an outstanding grade for sixth form provision we are very proud and delighted to report that our A level results have improved yet again. 100% of our students achieved A*-E across the campus and our A*-B grades improved by over 20% to a record high of 66%. A further major achievement has been in the percentage of students who achieved AAB or higher in at least two facilitating subjects (these are the subjects most commonly required or preferred by universities to get on to a range of degree courses) – we have almost a quarter of our cohort achieving these. Students of note are: Jackson C. (4 x A), Matthew H. (4 x A), Millie L. (1 x A* and 2 x A), Owen V. (1 x A* and 2 x A) and Bryony C. (2 x A and 2 x B). All students have a positive destination confirmed with the majority going to university to study a range of courses from astrophysics, to psychology to dietetics. We congratulate everyone on their successes and thank staff for their commitment and hard work and parents for their support.
